Cathay Pacific hit by worst ever airline data breach

Data security incidents reported to ICO increase by 75%

SC Media are reporting that the  number of incidents being reported to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has increased by 75 percent over the last two years.  This is not good or maybe even new news but the more important fact for business leaders -  the data also shows the vast majority of reported incidents (2,124 reports) could be attributed to human error, compared to just 292 that were deliberate cyber incidents.

TSB warns customers about being targeted by phishing attacks amid long outage

In an Article in TEISS - TSB today warned that malicious cyber criminals could be targeting customers with phishing emails by masquerading as the bank itself to make them divulge their account details, security PINs or passwords.
